Repair & service prices

Completed repairs include an internal clean and replacement thermal paste or liquid metal, as appropriate. Add £5 for optional thermal pads and £10 Royal Mail return postage.

Diagnosis: £25, plus £10 return postage. For no display, Ethernet/LAN, USB, power, disc-drive, liquid-damage or board-level faults. Repair is quoted after inspection. If you go ahead with the repair, the £25 diagnosis fee is deducted from the repair price. Disc-drive work is only available for consoles with a drive.

Sending your console

What happens after booking?

Check your email for your order reference and workshop address. You arrange and pay for postage to us. Pack your console securely in a strong box with cushioning and include the order reference. Do not send controllers, cables or games unless we ask for them.

What if you find another fault?

We explain the findings and confirm any additional price before carrying out extra work. Diagnostic bookings cover the initial inspection. If you go ahead with the repair, the £25 diagnosis fee is deducted from the repair price. If a repair is not possible or you decline it, the £10 return charge covers sending the console back.

Does free controller postage apply?

No. Console bookings have a separate £10 Royal Mail UK return charge. The existing controller shipping offer applies to controller orders.

Does cleaning fix all overheating faults?

The service covers cleaning and thermal paste or liquid-metal replacement, as appropriate. If a fan, power component or other part is faulty, replacement work is quoted separately.
